What are the spoken words in Warbrain? Who says them? |
Thoughts are the shadows of feeling, always darker, emptier, and simpler. I don't care if they're fake or real. I just thank them for showing up at all. I have black periods. Who does not? But they do not have me, they are not a part of illness, but a part of my being. What am I saying? I have the courage to have them. It's four in the morning. This sucks

What are the spoken words in Sadie? Who says them? |
He represented a God to me that was so beautiful that I would do anything for him. I'd do anything for God. Even murder if I believed it was right. How could it not be right when it is done out of love? I have no remorse for doing what was right for me. I have no guilt in me.

Do any of the Trio post here? |
Derek may stop by occasionally and Theresa, though not a member of the band but a lovely lady does browse and post. You never know who may show up from time to time though.

Nolan is their second guitarist on songs with a double guitar part. You've seen him at shows before.

How did the band get it's name? |
They wanted to be something "Trio" because they didn't know many bands that were, so as with all previous bands they used the dictionary and this time didn't even get past the A's and picked Alkaline. They became the Alkaline Trio.

Is Matt a Satanist? |
"If it offends people who are afraid to question their own faith, then it’s a good thing. We were on the list of records that a church wanted a certain record store to pull off the shelves. I was pretty happy about that. I don’t actually believe that there is a Satan or a hell or all that kind of stuff, but the imagery more than anything is exciting and challenging. But if it’s gonna piss somebody off for me to say I’m a Satanist, I’d be happy about that. " -- Matt Skiba

What happened to the ex-drummers? |
Although some would speculate they fell off the face of the earth or that Glenn was eaten by the remaining members that is not the case. Mike Felumlee is running his label Double Zero Records and has been in several other bands. Glenn is...we don't know where Glenn is, but we assure you he is somewhere.

What Genre are the Trio? |
Well, there are many words thrown around, punk, pop, emo, goth, and none of those stick. The best description I have seen is "music satan would sing while taking a shower."
